One is regarded as the greatest running back to ever grace the field in Goldsboro. Another was a two-sport letterman who went on to climb the ranks in the U.S. Army before retiring as a two-star general.

There was a coach who left a lasting impact on the thousands of young men he mentored during his career. And the son of a community legend accepted the honor on his late father’s behalf.

The Goldsboro-Dillard High School Hall of Fame welcomed new members into its ranks Saturday night in the GHS auditorium. The Prides Prophet Devaughn was there. The following shots are among his early favorites. More on this story will appear on the Pride website in the coming days.
